The DropSet 3 Headset features the GripLock™ bearing cap that preloads the headset independently of clamping onto the steerer, so it retains preload far better than other headset designs. The DropSet 3 is impervious to the ill effects of load spikes from large hits and heavy braking. This means smoother steering, no more creaking, and a longer lasting headset. GripLock™ design also takes the guesswork out of preloading a headset, because the bearing preload force is independent of the clamping force DropSet 3 headsets can be preloaded to a torque spec 41mm 45x45 upper bearing / 52mm 36x45 lower bearing DropSet 3 headsets with their legendary made-in-house bearings are engineered, manufactured and assembled in Portland, Oregon USA Includes baseplate and 36 degree integrated crown races Features the King Lifetime Warranty

Higher rates apply to certain long-distance destinations, including Newfoundland and Labrador. Additional charges may apply to remote or rural locations and oversized or overweight items.

Condition: Brand-new, never used, and in original packaging. Bikes must be never ridden.
Final sale: Sale and special-order items cannot be returned or exchanged. A discount code on a regular-price item does not make it final sale.
Return deadline: Approved items must reach us within 7 days of approval.
Processing fee: 5% of the amount paid for returned items, excluding taxes and shipping, is deducted from your refund—even for returns brought to a store.
